1. Overview

EZ Gift (“EZ Gift,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a platform that enables individuals and organizations (“Hosts”) to create event-based gifting campaigns and receive contributions from guests (“Contributors”).

We are committed to protecting your personal data and maintaining a secure, compliant platform aligned with financial, privacy, and security best practices.

2. Key Role Clarification 

• EZ Gift does not custody funds

• Payments are processed via Stripe Connect and related financial infrastructure

• Funds flow:

  • Contributor → Stripe (via Venue/Partner Connected Account)

  • Split to:

    • Host (beneficiary)

    • Partner (venue, DJ, etc.)

    • EZ Gift (platform fee)

3. Information We Collect

A. Identity & Account Information

• Name, email, phone

• Date of birth 

• Address

• Event details (wedding, fundraiser, etc.)

B. Financial & Transaction Data

• Transaction history

• Payout account information 

• Payment confirmations

EZ Gift does not store full card numbers or bank login credentials

C. Campaign Data

• Event name, description, date

• Public campaign content

D. Technical Data

• IP address

• Device/browser info

• Log data for fraud prevention

4. How We Use Information

• Operate and improve the platform

• Facilitate payments and payouts

5. KYC, AML & Sanctions Compliance

EZ Gift maintains a compliance framework that includes:

Identity Verification

• Stripe Connect onboarding + additional verification when needed

• Manual + automated detection systems

Sanctions Screening

We screen users against:

• OFAC SDN list

• Other U.S. sanctions lists

We prohibit use involving:

• Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk

We share data only as necessary with:
